Cancellation Policy

Please note that when you make a reservation, we forfeit the right to sell your spaces to others. A refund or reschedule may only be made if we are notified at least three weeks (21 days) prior to your trip date. Cancellations or reschedules before 21 days prior will be charged 10% of total fee due (not of the total being cancelled).

Reservations made or paid less than 21 days prior to trip date are non refundable, once payment is received.

We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies, late arrivals or inclement weather. You are allowed to find replacements for yourself and/or group. Please consider short term low cost trip insurance which will protect you if you need to cancel due to medical illness or emergency.

Lower Youghiogheny Rental Information

Reserve your launch permit (888-727-2757) or online at www.reserveworld.com. Launch times aree needed for weekends and holidays.

After you have reserved your launch permi, call White Water Rentals (800-992-7238) to reserve your choice of equipment. ONLY a $10.00/craft deposit required.

Arrive at our office at least 90 minutes prior to launch. Run your shuttle (2 vehicles required). Receive your equipment (A $30.00 security deposit/craft and a valid drivers license is required to receive your equipment), buy shuttle tokens from Ohiopyle State Park ($3.00/person). Paddle down the river and have fun.

You will not have a guide to accompany you through the rapids. Don’t forget, you must reserve a launch permit from the Ohiopyle State Park for weekend and holiday trips on the Lower Youghiogheny for a cost of $3.00 per person. Keep in mind that self-guided river trips do not include lunch or transportation for your party back to Ohiopyle, PA.

Note: You are responsible for returning all rental equipment back to White Water Rentals in Ohiopyle. The Ohiopyle State Park shuttle does not go to Ohiopyle
