In the white water community, it is well known that Ohiopyle and surrounding areas produce some of the best white water rafting guides in the world. The different types of rivers our guides train on present any type of white water challenge a guide could ever come across. Our guides are trained on everything from tight technical rivers to wide open raging water. If the best guides come from Ohiopyle, then we are proud to say we have some of the best guides in the world on our staff. With over 400 years of combined experience, we have the most experienced guide staff in all of Ohiopyle. We wanted to take this time and introduce some of the guides who help to make White Water Adventurers the most respected rafting outfitter on the East Coast.
Our trip leaders are some of the most experienced and talented guides in the World. They are usually the Senior Guide on the trip, and you will become very familiar with them right from the start of the trip as they give the talk-up introducing you to the world of rafting. So, when you see them, don't be afraid to say "Hello !"

Laura's Favorite River: The Upper Youghiogheny
"I'm a local girl who loves to go down the river. I grew up swimming in the Yough, so it was only natural to become a river guide. At this point in my life, I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I love interacting with the people that come to the river and go rafting. Everyday at work is different and exciting. I hope to see you all at the river !"
All of our guide staff are excellent guides. They start training in early April in preparation for our Guests. Each one of them are eager to venture down the river with you, your family and your friends! Are you interested in becoming one of our guides? Check out our Guide Training Page.
